The MacKenzie and Rue performances are rooted in tradition, presenting a rich tapestry of Celtic and other folk music. MacKenzie's Scottish heritage led her to play traditional music at dances in the Minnesota Irish-American community and to become recognized by the Minnesota State Arts Board as a Master Folk Artist.
