Major Requirements

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

Walsh University's School for Professional Studies (S.P.S) is pleased to offer Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Management, Marketing and Finance.  The Business Management Major can be completed with a concentration in Human Resource Management or Organizational Leadership.

S.P.S. Program degree requirements are the same as the requirements for a Bachelor of Arts degree from Walsh University (2005-06 catalog). Click here for 2005-06 catalog  In addition to the required business courses, the student in the S.P.S. Program must complete Walsh University's core curriculum for the Bachelor of Arts degree (page 54 in catalog).

Elective courses may be taken to complete the remaining hours of the 124 required.

GENERAL MANAGEMENT CONCENTRATION:

A student with four (4), or more, years of full-time, professional work experience, may petition for waiver of a concentration requirement.  A signed "Petition for Waiver of General Management Concentration" form is required.  If the petition is granted, and all other degree requirements are met, such a student will be awarded a BA in Business with a Major in General Management.
