Combined Master's in Mental Health & School Counseling

The Counseling and Human Development curriculum is designed so that students may simultaneously complete the requirements for both the Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling specializations with relative ease. Both specializations will be posted on the diploma. A Declaration of Dual Specializations Form must be filed with the Office of the Registrar at least one semester before graduation.

In order to have both specializations posted on the diploma, course and specialization-specific requirements for both specializations must be fulfilled before the M.A. degree is conferred. A student may not return for a second degree in the second specialization once the M.A. has been conferred.
