MEDICAL INSURANCE FOR F-1 STUDENTS

You will not be permitted to register for courses until you provide proof of current medical insurance. 

If you have purchased the university health insurance plan (AULTCARE), you must provide additional proof of repatriation and medical evacuation insurance through B.E.T.A. (Basic Emergency Travel Assistance).  Enroll in the annual plan and bring the proof of insurance to the office of International Students Services.

If you waived out of the university health insurance plan, you must provide proof of your alternative medical insurance. Bring a copy of the insurance card and policy summary (written in English) to the office of International Student Services. The minimum coverage requirements are as follows:

Minimum coverage for basic accident and illness   $50,000
per condition
Repatriation of remains  $7,500
Medical evacuation (return to home country)  $10,000
Deductible  $500
