Lisa Powalski

President: The President acts as the presiding officer over the Executive Board and conducts weekly meetings with all of the Chair Members. The president assists other board members with preparing, planning and executing campus events and has a presence at all University Programming Board functions. Email me!

 

Olivia Gruber

Vice President: The Vice President works with the President in fulfillment of their duties. The vice president is responsible for events such as Bingo, etc. A very important role of the vice president is to oversee and supervise the volunteer committee of students, the Underground, who assist the Programming Board on an “as needed” basis for events. The vice president of the UPB also serves as the student government liaison; he/she attends all Student Government meetings and reports all of the issues discussed to the Executive Board, as well as present resolutions and take information from UPB on upcoming events to present to Student Government. Kim Smith

Secretary/Treasurer: This position maintains two roles on the University Programming Board. The role or the Secretary is to maintain key notes and facts at each meeting and send information taken at each weekly meeting out to all chair members via e-mail (or other resources). The role of the Treasurer is to keep a detailed and accurate record of all financial transactions completed by the University Programming Board. The role of this position is also to serve as the historian and take pictures for later use. Email me!

 

Julie Flint

Leadership Chair: The Leadership chair is responsible for the planning and implementation of the Discover… Freshman Retreat, the Shape… Sophomore Retreat, and any other seminars geared towards enhancing student leadership. Email me!

 

Marc Malleske

Traditions Chair: The Traditions chair is responsible for the planning and implementation of the theme and events that take place during Homecoming Week and Lil’ Sibs Weekend. Email me!

 

Jordan Miller

Main Events Chair: The Main Events chair is responsible for the planning and implementation of Fall Family Weekend and Walsh Fest. Email me!

 

Allison Rohlf

Interactive Chair: The Interactive chair is responsible for planning and implementing events in which students can participate actively including such events as The Price is Right, etc. Email me!

 

Nicole Vaughn

Novelty Chair: The Novelty chair is responsible for any novelty items brought to campus which consists of comedians, hypnotists, illusionists, caricature artists, and any other like events. Email me!

 

 

Katie Brown

Music Chair: The Music chair is responsible for the planning and implementation of any musical artist that comes to campus. This goes along with the Coffee House Artist Series or any co-sponsorship with organizations like the Artist and Lecture Series. Email me!

 

Jess Rumancik

Films Chair: The Films Chair is responsible for any and all pre-released films sponsored by the University Programming Board. These films are shown in the Olivieri Towers Theatre or on the campus lawn for the Drive-In movies. Email me!

 

Eric Noyes

Recreation Chair: The Recreation chair is responsible for the planning and implementation of any recreational events such as ice skating, canoeing, the Game Room Challenges, cosmic bowling, paintball, etc. Email me!

 

Dan Hartley

Spirit Chair: The Spirit Chair is responsible for planning and implementing events which promote school spirit and support for athletic events on campus. These events include tailgates, pre and post-game events, etc. Email me!

Special Media Chair: The Special Media chair position is responsible for keeping the University Programming Board website up-to-date as well as communicating with students and keeping them informed about events through various types of special media such as Facebook, etc. Email me!
