Natalie Phillips Natalie Phillips signed a NAIA National Letter of Intent to continue her volleyball career at Walsh University in the fall of 2008. Phillips is a 5-10 outside hitter from Wooster, Ohio. She is a four-time letterwinner for Wooster High School and is a two-time OAC Defensive Player of the Year honoree. Natalie is a member of the Cleveland Volleyball Company and played for Krista Singleton's 17Black team during the 2007 season. Natalie stated that the reason she chose Walsh is, "because they have a competitive program and I like the size and location of the campus." Head Coach, Krista Singleton, says about Phillips, "I am so excited that Natalie is a Cavalier. She has the intensity, desire, and competitiveness that this program needs. She is an athlete that will push for playing time from day one and will help us continue to move in the right direction. She has an extremely high volleyball IQ and does some things on the court that you just cannot teach. Working with Natalie during the club season allowed me to see the type of athlete and individual she is, not only on the court, but off. Natalie will be a tremendous asset to our program and I am excited for her future at Walsh."
