Campus Minister Receives Volunteer Organization of the Year Award by Canton City Schools

Walsh University's Mary Niedenthal, Campus Minister and Coordinator of Student Outreach has been awarded the 2009 “Volunteer Organization of the Year Award” from the Canton City School District.

The Mary's dedication and the students working with the Friends Mentoring program were both recognized at the annual May 14 Volunteer Luncheon for Canton City Schools.

"Mary’s hard work and the commitment of our students to make a difference in this world is truly inspirational," said Miguel Chavez, Director of Campus Ministry. "Congratulations to her and the students who’ve made the Friends Mentoring program such a success."
