Outreach Programs

The Division of Education sponsors several programs that serve members of the local community and assist students in acquiring some of those intangible teaching characteristics that can only be gained through working with others. These programs are staffed and essentially run by those students who have shown themselves to be exemplary in their concern for the treatment of other fellow human beings. They take seriously the Judeo-Christian ideals upon which this institution has been founded. Walsh University offers the following outreach programs:
  • Education Club S.T.A.R.S. Program
  • After School Enrichment Program for children ages 6 to 10
  • Green Local Schools - Technology Collaboration
  • Walsh Writers - The Repository Newspaper in Education (NIE) Project
  • The Twinning Project, a collaboration through the Stark County Education Partnership, Inc.
  • ARC of Stark County - South Advocacy Club
  • Stark County MRDD
