Peggy Kraft Named New Office of Grants and Sponsored Research Administrator

Walsh University has announced the appointment of Peggy Kraft as the new Office of Grants and Sponsored Research Administrator.
In this new position, and in line with the mission of Walsh University, her responsibilities will include working to develop policies and procedures; working with and supporting faculty in locating grant funding opportunities; facilitating the full grant submission process; and upon grant funding, providing support to faculty for management of the grant reporting through close-out. Her experience will help develop and lead the newly created Office of Grants and Sponsored Research.
Kraft brings to Walsh over 30 years of experience and breadth of knowledge in the Grants and Sponsored Research Administration arena. Prior to Walsh, Kraft served for 29 years at The University of Akron, 18 years on the financial management side of grants and over 12 years on the pre-award (grant submission) side. Her past experience includes two years at The Ohio State University where she served as Grants Manager in the Department of Internal Medicine and Program Manager in the Institute of Materials Research.
