The 4/5 Endorsement is designed for teachers who hold a Pre-K - 3 Ohio license and want to expand their career options in the field of elementary education. Walsh offers this teacher endorsement in an online format throughout the academic school year and in a classroom format in the summer semester. Walsh University's Center for Professional Development offers a variety of education workshops throughout the summer semester at the Akron (Arlington Road) Campus. The Education Workshops provide an engaging way to acquire CEU’s for license renewal.
Walsh University is well known throughout the state for providing exceptional education to educators through our Bachelors and Masters in Education programs. Walsh’s Teacher Preparation Program is accredited by the National Council of Accreditation for Teacher Education (NCATE). Each licensure program also is nationally accredited by its Specialized Professional Association (SPA), which creates teaching standards for specific content areas and grade levels. We also provide education workshops and teacher endorsement programs.
