Faculty & Staff > Research My main research interests are the influence of security threats and domestic politics on Foreign Policy and Comparative Politics. My area focuses are: Europe/Germany as well as Comparative Political Economy. My research has focused on the endogenous factors, such as public opinion, and exogenous factors, such as security threats, that affect foreign policy outputs. I am interested in theoretical relationships of theses variables as well as policy implications these relationships may imply for the US, the EU, and foreign policy formation and outputs generally.
