Bowling Rules
I. Location
Games will be played at Park Centre Lanes,
7313 Whipple Avenue, North Canton, Ohio, 44720. (330) 499-0555.
(Directions: Off of Main Street, turn left onto Portage Street, turn right onto Whipple Avenue, and Park Centre Lanes will be on the left side about ½ mile up Whipple Avenue)
II. League
- Only Walsh students, faculty, staff, and alumni are eligible to play.
- Teams will consist of 5 players and each team will pay a pre-determined rate per night to use the lane.
(Maximum of 7 people per roster)
- Only players on the official team roster may participate in the game.
- After 2 games, the roster is locked and no more players can be added.
- Players are allowed to play on only one team per sport's league.
- All players are required to have a signed waiver of liability on file with Intramurals for the current sport.
III. Handicaps & Averages
The first night of league play, bowler averages will be figured out by the computerized scorekeeping system, and handicaps will be assessed. (During tournament play, handicaps will not be assessed.)
IV. Sportsmanship
With this being a school sponsored event off campus, Walsh University Regulations and Policy are still being enforced. No one under the age of 21 may purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. And no alcohol, food, or other beverages may be brought in. All food, alcoholic and other beverages must be purchased and consumed inside the bowling alley. Also, cheating and unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated. Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated and persons involved may be subject to ejection from the Bowling Alley or league and may also face judicial action. This behavior will be interpreted at the discretion of the officials.
