SIGMA BETA DELTA Sigma Beta Delta is certified by the Association of College Honor Societies, the association that sets the standards for organizational excellence and scholastic eligibility for member societies that honor scholastic achievement in many, many disciplines including agriculture, political science, psychology, journalism, engineering - to name only a few. Today, over 225 Sigma Beta Delta chapters have been established in 45 states and one chapter in the United Arab Emerites. International membership will expand as IACBE, our specialized accrediting body, adds internal members. These chapters offer a variety of benefits and services to their members. In addition to the resume building benefits, services including a Fellowship program that awards scholarships, networking opportunities with Sigma Beta Delta Alumni, lifetime contact through the annual "Aspirations" newsletter and a job board on its website for posting resumes and reviewing job opportunitites. Acceptance into Sigma Beta Delta is by invitation only. It is open to the students at the main campus, students in the School of Professional Studies and MBA Candidates. Candidates for bachelor's and master's degree who rank in the upper 20% of their class at the time of invitation to membership may be inducted into membership following completion of at least one-half of the degree program in which they are enrolled.
