 DESCRIPTION:

 A full-time position; Monday through Thursday, 1:30 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. and Saturday,

 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the School for Professional Studies, Akron Campus.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Assist students with the processing of various forms such as registration and business forms.  This includes entering data into Banner

·         Assisting faculty with copies and the processing of required classroom documentation

·         Assisting staff, as necessary, with the promotion of programs that will attract and retain students

·         Processing requests for information

·         Answering telephone inquiries

·         Maintain used book list and assist students with registrations and first assignments.

·         Setting up classrooms, making copies and keeping SPS program information and brochures available.

·         Copying and typing end-of-course evaluations.  Distributing faculty contracts. All filing as necessary.

·         Closing the campus. (includes: locking up campus, running AUDIT report, and making sure any and all electrical equipment is turned off).

·         Serve as CLEP/DANTES testing administrator

·         Other duties as assigned by the Akron Campus Admissions Office and the Director of Operations

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a high school graduate.  Bachelor degree preferred.  Experience in office procedures and computer literate with various PC applications.  Strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, and a strong commitment to customer service.
