Dr. Phil Kim's Management Information Systems class published an eBook as part of a final project for the course. The book, titled "Big Business Problems: Small Business Solutions"is written by 11 contributors who are all enrolled in the Walsh MBA program. Its content focuses on everyday business problems that ordinary people encounter in their lives. The various chapters discuss different ways information technology has impacted business problems and offer solutions to each problem discussed. The eBook is offered in the spirit that learning transcends the classroom.
Topics covered in the eBook include "Business Intelligence: What does it mean and how do I use it?" and "Say What? A Guide to 'Geek Speak.'" The collaboration will be available for download to your eReader at Amazon.com for $4.99. All proceeds will benefit a charity of the class's choice.
The Walsh MBA students involved in the project include: Joel Bullock, Amy Collett, Ben Daleiden, Chris Hammond, Kimberly Hocking, Chuck Hritz, Tom Lopienski, Ross Muhleman, Jeremy Shardo, Sarah Snyder and Joe Vignos.
