Welcome to Walsh University! We are thrilled you've chosen to be part of the Walsh University community and look forward to your arrival on campus. Your Walsh experience begins by attending Summer Orientation. Since Orientation is integral to your Walsh experience, attendance is required. The theme for 2014 is "Walshopoly."
During Summer Orientation, you will connect with Walsh students, faculty in your major, University staff, and your academic advisor. You will also complete any necessary placement testing and participate in a variety of interactive sessions covering Walsh's unique programs and services. Parents are also welcome to participate in Orientation and can attend a variety of programs
designed just for them.
To help make your Summer Orientation experience easier, a group of current Walsh students will be there to help you through the day. "Orientation Leaders" are current students who return in the summer just to welcome you to Walsh. These students can answer many of your questions and provide you with practical advice on the college experience.
We look forward to welcoming you and your family into the Walsh community.
During Summer Orientation, students will complete placement testing for math and foreign language. Foreign language testing is comprised of 2 parts: listening and written. All students will complete the listening component during orientation. Students have the option to complete the written component electronically before the day of orientation. To start the written foreign language, click here.
The results of these tests have nothing to do with a student's admission to the University. Students attending summer orientation have already been accepted to Walsh!
