Walsh University CHD Program

The Walsh University CHD Program delivered by our award winning counseling department offers a teaching method which guides each student to develop greater self-awareness, respect for the human dignity of each person, and the moral commitment to work first and foremost, in the best interest of clients. The mission and philosophy statement for the CHD program is to provide its students a higher education that fosters critical thinking, effective communication, spiritual growth, and personal, professional, and cultural development. This counseling degree program mission is centered around the core values of leadership, service, justice and educational excellence.

The Walsh University CHD program is accelerated, offering many courses in eight-week format, which allow students to go at their own pace. In addition, our rolling admissions policy allows students to start when it's most convenient for them. Small classes provide an environment for individualized attention and active participation and interaction between students and faculty. We believe this individualized attention and hands-on learning approach is the main reason Walsh CHD graduates enjoy high pass rates on state licensure exams.
