Timken Science Center - Classroom 2

Timken Natural Sciences Center

Walsh University’s newest academic building features chemistry and biology labs for beginning and advanced study of a variety of scientific areas, state of the art classrooms with full Internet and technological connections, and meeting space for students and faculty. The centerpiece of this new facility is a Bioinformatics Laboratory. This new lab, one of only a few in the United States, utilizes specialized computers to analyze biological, medical, behavioral and health data, allowing for the training needed for Walsh graduates to continue studying the development of new cures for diseases, sources of food and other scientific breakthroughs not possible without this level of educational preparation.
