Transfer/Waiver Policies

The MBA program permits transfer of credit hours for courses equivalent to those in Walsh's MBA program. In no case will transfer credit exceed six courses or 18 semester hours in the MBA program. Transferred credit is not included in the calculation of the student's GPA.

Each course transferred in under this procedure will require the separate approval of the related Walsh University MBA course graduate faculty and director. Transfer credit is not to be viewed as an automatic student right.

A MBA student with an undergraduate business degree may be considered for a waiver of a MBA 610 course(s) corresponding to the student's undergraduate major(s). The waived course would be replaced by equivalent credit hours in a graduate course.
