Semester in England

Walsh University offers spring and fall semester programs in cooperation with CCSA (Cooperative Center for Study Abroad) and the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. Students must enroll in 15 credit hours and may select from the full range of courses available at the University of East Anglia, subject to scheduling constraints and normal prerequisite requirements. The program is limited to 20 participants per semester, and all students must be approved by the CCSA Board of Trustees.

Fall 2008 Program: Sept. 17 to Dec. 13, 2008

Cost: $12,795

The program fee ncludes health insurance, International Student Identity Card, tuition at the University of East Anglia, and standard single room accommodations

Not included: airfare, airport transfers, meals, books, laundry, and personal necessities (minimum of $2200 is recommended). Students should also budget additional funds for souvenirs and independent travel based on their own spending habits.

Admission Requirements

Students must meet the following admission criteria:
1. Sophomore standing or higher at the time of application
2. Minimum 3.0 GPA overall
3. One written faculty recommendation
4. Submission of 500-word essay describing reasons for wanting to participate
5. Official transcript
6. Submission of completed application form with $200 deposit by June 13, 2008. Application should be submitted to International Programs and Services.
