Walsh Fund

What is the Walsh Fund?
The Walsh Fund is the University's annual operating fund comprised of gifts from alumni, parents and friends of Walsh University. Currently, 33% of the University's annual budget goes back to the students in the form of scholarships. In order to sustain or increase that number, the Walsh Fund must continue to grow.
Over the next four years, Walsh is embarking on the Million Dollar March, seeking to reach a $1 million goal by the 2014 campaign. It's not just the leadership givers who can help achieve that goal. All gifts, no matter the size, cumulatively add up and truly make a difference.
Where does the money go?
The Walsh Fund helps the University provide the amenities necessary to recruit new students, retain current students and help keep Walsh affordable. Gifts to the Walsh Fund include provisions for:
- Faculty development
- Scholarship assistance and financial aid
- Library materials
- Technical equipment and resources
- Academic programs
- Extracurricular activities
- Buildings and grounds maintenance
- Athletic budgets
