Walsh University is looking for a Director of Alumni Relations to serve Walsh's growing network of 20,000+ alumni and friends worldwide. This dynamic, creative individual must have excellent communications skills and be organized, outgoing, and personable. Our new Director will work closely with members of the campus community, the international alumni board, and regional chapters to build upon the excellent foundation already established in our alumni relations outreach to assist the University in reaching its fundraising and friend-raising goals.
Successful candidates should have a bachelor's degree (master's preferred); 3 to 5 years of demonstrated management experience in alumni relations, fundraising or other not-for-profit agencies similar in scope to Walsh's alumni relations program; proven leadership skills; a successful track record in engaging volunteers and developing programming and events; ability to manage multiple priorities; demonstrated strong team-building skills and evidenced ability to work as a member of a team; excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills; computer proficiency; and ability to travel. A Walsh alum is preferred.
