Where is Walsh University located?

Walsh University is located in North Canton, approximately five miles north of Canton and twenty miles south of Akron in northeastern Ohio. The cities of Cleveland and Youngstown are within an hour's drive. Interstate 77 runs north and south through North Canton while Route 30 runs east and west. Both Interstate 76 and 80 are north of the city and Interstate 71 is west. The Canton area is served through Akron-Canton Regional Airport as well as Amtrak trains and Greyhound buses. Canton is an urban and diversified industrial center with a population of about 84,000 and is home to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. North Canton has a population of approximately 16,500. The cities offer a variety of opportunities for cultural and recreational activities, entertainment, sports, dining, and shopping. Cultural opportunities in the area include a symphony orchestra, art gallery, theater, ballet, civic opera, and lecture series. Many Walsh students obtain jobs at the shopping center located across from the University. Area hotels include Comfort Inn, Best Western, Holiday Inn, and Hampton Inn.
