Why Walsh?

"Walsh is a small school , but it gave me the chance to meet a lot of people and participate in the sports I love.  Also without walsh I wouldn't have gotten to room with some of the best girls I know.  Track is a lot of fun and I've made some really good friends on the team, and it's given me a chance to be closer to my roomies, I love them (Ashley Miller & Mikka Ray) Its just an all around REALLY FUN time... and any one would be lucky to experience what we do at Walsh."
                                                 ~Meghan Patton, Sophomore, Middle Distance

"At Walsh I was able to achieve things that I wouldn't have been able to at a larger school.  I am a year-round athlete, but am still able to keep up on my studies and actively participate in school organizations.  Most importantly, track has been my segue to meeting wonderful friends.  In my experience as a multi-sport athlete, track has always seemed to be the place where I've meet the most fun and interesting people.  This theory is no different at Walsh.  Of course we are a hard-working team and a dedicated group of runners, but our personality is what really makes us unique."
                                                  ~Kristen Boyne, Senior, Sprints/Hurdles

"At Walsh I am an individual.  Being a small school I don't feel like I get lost in the crowd.  In the classroom and in track and cross country, I can be my own person.  Our team is made up of many unique personalities, but we can all come together as a team."
                                                 ~Tess Francis, Sophomore, Distance/Hurdles

"A high quality education is offered through a personal touch at Walsh University.  Through Walsh, I am able to strive to reach my goals in Track."
                                                 ~Amy Stermole, Freshman, Throws
