Walsh narrowly edged rival Cedarville by a count of 5-4 to claim the Ohio Independent Championship this afternoon. The Cavaliers (15-5) took two of three doubles matches to start the event before splitting the six singles matches with the hosting Yellow Jackets (13-12).
