The OCSWMFTB has increased the educational and experiential requirements for the “Approved Supervisor” designation effective August 31, 2008. After this date, applications for “Approved Supervisor” designation will require 24 CEUs across four specified educational content areas:
1. Assessment evaluation and remediation6 hours
2. Counselor development6 hours
3. Management and administration6 hours
4. Professional responsibilities6 hours
This graduate credit workshop is organized to meet the new educational requirements outlined above.Instructional methods will include:lecture, experiential role play, small group work, discussion and videos.It will provide two (2) graduate credit hours or 24 CEUs.

POWER IN NUMBERS WORKSHOP
Group work in a school setting is extremely effective when organized and modified to fit the needs of specific students. The logistics of creating effective school support groups are essential due to time constraints and other school related issues. This workshop demonstrates a practical step-by-step process that starts with identifying appropriate students and takes you to the end of the group process with appropriate closure of the group.
Students may register for this workshop for one graduate credit hour or for 12 CEUs. This workshop is offered at no charge to current Walsh University site supervisors for CEUs.
