Thompson_K_Walsh-Wire-3.9.jpgCavalier Safeguard Initiative is thrilled to announce the launch of Walsh University's first on-site, confidential* victim advocacy program open to any student or employee who has experienced a situation of sexual assault, relationship violence, or stalking. We are happy to welcome to campus Katie Thompson, a trained victim advocate from COMPASS, who is available to meet with victims and survivors on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. For more information, click here. 

Outside of these hours, students and employees have 24/7 access to victim services support by calling COMPASS at 330-452-1111 or the Domestic Violence Project, Inc. at 330-453-SAFE. Ms. Thompson's office is located at Betzler 139. She can be reached at kathompson@walsh.edu or 330-490-7416. This new campus program is funded by a three-year Office on Violence Against Women grant awarded to the university.
