Office of Academic Services
The Office of Academic Services, headed by Dr. Edna McCulloh, oversees a variety of services to assist students in meeting their academic goals. It provides support and resources to assist faculty with advising concerns and has direct responsibility for the Office of Professional Advising, who bear primary advising responsibility for first-year students other than those in business who have a professional advisor for their first two years. The Office also oversees athletic advisors who monitor athletes' academic progress in accordance with NCAA requirements. Academic Services also is responsible for placement and scheduling of all incoming, first-year students and for all students on probation. Additionally, the Office of Academic Services includes Academic Achievement, the Academic Support Center, responsible for all tutoring and the Office of Accessibility Services, responsible for providing accommodations for students with documented disabilities, First-Year Orientation courses (GE100, 100TR and 110), the Library and Office of the Registrar.
