Alpha Mu Chapter-Chi Sigma Iota

Chi Sigma IotaWe invite you to learn more about our counseling program chapter, winner of the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International's "Outstanding Chapter Award" for 2006. The Alpha Mu Chapter was established in 1987 and has grown from five members to over 100. Inductees are chosen based on, a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale, attainment of candidacy, promise of active participation and faculty endorsement. Faculty, alumni, and participating professional counselors who are either certified or licensed, and who have given evidence of distinguished scholarship and professional service, including professional credentials and/or graduation from a Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP) approved program, are also eligible for induction.
