Experience the Hoover Legacy
Free Guided tours hourly at 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, from March through October
Guests are invited to experience the Hoover legacy in the Hoover family home amid Victorian elegance. Hoover Company history through 2008 includes vintage products, advertising, and war memorabilia. WWII display contains Hoover-produced war materials; awards; photographs. Awards exhibit and photos of Hoover floats from Pro Football Hall of Fame Parades. Vintage ladies’ fashions throughout enhance displays. Museum Gift Shoppe offers souvenirs. Enchanting herb gardens, June-October. Group tours available weekday mornings and require advance reservations.
40th anniversary celebration
June 1 to October 27
In honor of the Hoover Historical Center's 40th anniversary, visitors who tour the center have the opportunity to receive a free Hoover Historical Center t-shirt and to be entered into a raffle to win a Cleveland Indians t-shirt. In addition, all who tour the center will receive a lip balm courtesy of the Wayne County CVB.
Plus: The 40th visitor to do this receives - a Walsh University gym bag and blanket, a free night's stay and brunch for two at the Fieldcrest of North Canton, free admission for two at the Canton Classic Car Museum, a Visit Canton bag of souvenirs, an Aurora Outlets tote, a Hoover Historical Center sweatshirt and Gift Shoppe souvenirs.
