Wednesday, August 22 - Friday, August 24, 2018

We are delighted that you have chosen to attend Walsh University! The International Orientation program is designed to welcome our international students to the Walsh Community. Our goal is to help make your transition to campus as smooth and successful as possible.

During International Student Orientation, you’ll have the opportunity to meet other new international and American students, partake in fun and interactive off-campus trips, and connect to your International Student Ambassador. Most importantly, you’ll learn important information on:

  • Campus support and resources,
  • Immigration issues and regulations,
  • Maintaining your immigration status,
  • Health insurance, and
  • Safety

Participation Requirements

International Student Orientation is required for students who:

  • Live outside of the United States, or
  • Live in the United States on an F-1 Student Visa

Special Note

*Canadian Students: While we certainly appreciate your familiarity with the American culture, you are required to attend International Student Orientation.

*Students who are U.S. citizens educated abroad may also participate in International Student Orientation.

As a reminder, international students are not permitted to arrive more than 30 days before the start date on your I-20. If you are not approved as an early arrival student because of a preseason athletic camp, academic cohort orientation, or marching band, you are not permitted to arrive to campus prior to August 21st.
