Walsh University’s online Master of Science in Nursing program offers students three career paths: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator or Family Nurse Practitioner. An MSN degree gives you the autonomy to define your future in the nursing field.
As an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, graduates will be prepared to manage complex patient care situations, providing specialized medical care and advanced nursing skills to patients in a hospital or clinic setting. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, graduates will expand their scope of practice, work collaboratively with other health care professionals, and manage patient care across the lifespan. As a Nurse Educator, graduates will be prepared to teach in a variety of settings and influence the next generation of nursing professionals.
Faculty and support staff is available to help students through their Master’s in Nursing journey. Each MSN student is challenged to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to meet client needs in a variety of health care settings. We feature small classes and caring professors, administrators and advisors to make sure you get the appropriate attention you need and that your Walsh experience is rich and rewarding.
