For 50 years, one of the most anticipated events of the Walsh academic year has been the Business Club Luncheon. Founded in 1966, the Business Club has hosted an impressive portfolio of internationally renowned business leaders who have shared their expertise and insight into current business trends both local and global. In a fitting tribute to mark its 50th Anniversary, this year’s experts represent industry giants in innovation, creativity and information technology -- Twitter, American Greetings and Verizon Wireless. They also happen to be three Walsh University alumni.
On November 17, Walsh University will present alumni executives in a Ted-style talk on "The Digital Transformation," Thursday, November 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the Barrette Business and Community Center. The panel will feature:
- Ged Tarpey ’03, Twitter, Inc., Head of Media and Entertainment, West
- Carol Miller ’93, American Greetings, Vice President, Corporate Innovation
- Bobby Morrison ’05, Verizon Wireless, Senior Vice President, Digital Operations
Individual tickets are $40 per person. Call Andrea Singarella at 330.490.7567 for additional information. Event registration is open and available at walsh.edu/businessluncheon.
Hosted by the Walsh University Business Club student organization, proceeds will benefit Walsh student scholarships.
