The Canton Repository  recently spotlighted the beautiful mosaic installation on our new Global Learning Center.  The full article is available here: Mosaic Takes Shape at Walsh University.

The Walsh Crest on the Global Learning Center is composed of approximately 500,000 pieces of handmade Venetian mosaic tiles. All art work and design has been crafted by Damien Marchione and Marchione Studios, Inc., who have designed many fine art mosaics in Northeast Ohio and around the United States and Canada. The lead craftsman, Lonnie Tullos, has executed large and challenging mosaics locally, including  Little Flower Parish and Walsh University's Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel.  Lonnie is being assisted by Fabrizio Toneguzzo, a mosaic craftsman from Italy, and a graduate of the Spilimbergo Mosaic Institute in Northeast Italy.  Fabrizio and his father before him, have been executing the mosaic designs of Marchione Studios for two decades.
