Walsh was chosen as Stark County’s Best College/University by the readers of the Canton Repository during the annual Best of the Best award program presented by Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce. This is the second consecutive year Walsh has been honored with the top award, while consistently earning nominations and finalist honors since the program began in 2006.
A record number of 150,000-plus voters participated in the 2019 reader’s choice award campaign which was held from March 17-31, with more than 200 nominations in categories including Kids/Education, Dining/Food, Health, People/Places, Shopping and Beauty.
Winners were announced during a ceremony on Thursday, May 15, and were recognized in a special print section of the Canton Repository on Sunday, May 26.
