Walsh Names Stacie Herman as University Registrar

Walsh University has appointed Stacie Herman as University Registrar, effectively immediately. Stacie has been serving as Walsh’s Interim Registrar since November 2015.

In her role as Registrar, Stacie will oversee the management of the Office of the Registrar while collaborating with a variety of academic areas including the Office of the Provost, Academic Services, Enrollment Management, Academic Advising and Athletic Compliance. The Registrar is responsible for coordinating registration, course schedules, degree audits, NCAA Division II student reviews, veterans’ certifications, catalog and curriculum guides, transfer equivalencies and the issuance of grades and transcripts.

"Stacie and the entire team of the Registrar’s Office have consistently maintained a high level of service and effectiveness in this time of transition," said Douglas Palmer, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Stacie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Kent State University and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration degree from Walsh. She has been a member of the Walsh University community since 2014, serving previously as a Registrar Specialist and Assistant Registrar. Prior to Walsh, she served as Records Technician for the Kent State University Advancement Services and as a Records Assistant for Brown Mackie College Registrar’s Office.

Stacie Herman resides in Canton, Ohio, with her husband Jonathan and their daughter Alice.
