"In the highly competitive market of higher education, the necessity for a professional and concise approach to the branding of an institution is a requirement. "We are confident that Teresa’s experience in both the corporate and nonprofit industries will continue to enhance the reputation of Walsh University as we strive to become an even greater resource to the Northeast Ohio community."
Griffin will continue to manage the coordination of University level marketing efforts and advertising projects by working closely with divisions and departments. Her focus will be on the development of an integrated and creative University brand image recognizable among key constituencies including prospective students, donors, community members and leaders from the region. Reporting directly to the President, Griffin will continue to provide leadership and direction to the director of university relations, marketing communications manager, senior graphic designer, production artist and print room staff.
"I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work for a higher education institution that understands and supports the critical need for a strategic and integrated approach to marketing using the ever-increasing channels available to us," said Griffin. "Walsh University is truly a remarkable institution with exceptional leadership. I look forward to continuing to dedicate myself to its success through recruitment, thought leadership, visibility, distinction, and alumni and donor engagement."
Prior to joining Walsh, Griffin worked in marketing and advertising for both the nonprofit and profit sectors in South Carolina and California with such clients at the Savannah Economic Development Authority, Bombardier Business Aircraft, Sears, and Sony.
