National Publication Spotlights Byers School of Nursing

Walsh University's Byers School of Nursing was spotlighted in the national publication Our Sunday Visitor Newsweekly for"revolutionizing nursing programs and resources while uniting them to their Catholic faith." Our Sunday Visitor is the world's largest English language Catholic publisher serving millions of Catholics and Catholic organizations globally through publishing, offertory and communication services. 

The September 2-8 issue and article in its entirety may be accessed online at "OSV: Treating the Whole Person, Body and Soul" and includes interviews with Walsh Associate Professor of Nursing Dr. Judy Kreye and Walsh alumnus Gabrielle Canterbury. Gabrielle is a Walsh 2017 graduate with her Bachelor Degree in biology. In addition, she  just completed her accelerated BSN degree from the Byers School of Nursing this August.  

Walsh University Byers School of Nursing continues to address the educational needs of the healthcare industry with the launch of its newest degree program, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. This new program is designed to prepare nurses to manage complex patient care situations, providing specialized medical care and advanced nursing skills to patients in a hospital or clinic setting.
