Dr. Anderson is an Associate Professor and Director of the graduate program of Counseling & Human Development. She holds a B.S. from Ohio University, a M.S. from the University of Dayton, and a Ph.D. from Ohio University. She is licensed as a supervising professional clinical counselor in Ohio (LPCC-S), and has worked for over 30 years as a mental health counselor, supervisor, agency administrator, and private practitioner. She began serving as a counselor educator in 2009.
Her professional interests include: clinical mental health counseling, supervision of clinical mental health counselors, counselor education issues related to multicultural awareness, gender, power, victimization, ethics, and the development of the working alliance between counselor and client.
