Summer 2022 Alumni Meet Ups

The Walsh University Office of Alumni Relations is heading to a city near YOU this summer! We are so excited to be joining you and other alumni in your hometown for fun events throughout the summer. These casual gathers are a way to reconnect with other Cavaliers and meet folks who are local to your area. See the list of where we'll be stopping below!

Alumni can casually join together at BrewDog DogTap Columbus for a hometown happy hour on Friday, June 10. The $15 ticket includes an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of BrewDog, the first beverage, and some snacks. Come meet other Columbus alumni and enjoy BrewDog! Sign up HERE!

It's officially summer! Help us kick it off by joining for an afternoon of fun, fellowship and food with a signature Hall of Fame City Food Tour with Canton Food Tours. This tailored tour will take place in Canton Arts District, where guests will enjoy curated small plates at four downtown restaurants. Attendees will stroll around Canton and visit galleries, shops, and cultural stops that are not open during the evening hours. We're heading to West Cleveland! Come enjoy an evening with fellow Walsh Alumni at Topgolf in Independence, OH. Not a golfer? Not a problem! Topgolf is a game that anyone can play (and win). Score points by hitting micro-chipped golf balls at giant dartboard-like targets on an outfield.

Attendees will enjoy a spacious bay filled with other alumni, unlimited games of Topgolf play, and dinner! Dinner includes chicken tenders, pulled pork sliders, fruit, chips, dessert, non-alcoholic beverages, and a vegetarian option! Tickets are $35 and are limited to the first 18 attendees. Walsh University Alumni Night with the RubberDucks. Join fellow alum at Canal Park, 300 South Main Street, Akron, OH 44308 to watch the Akron RubberDucks take on the Bowie Baysox. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6:45 p.m. game. Order tickets by Tuesday, August 9 to get the group pricing of $12 per ticket. Get tickets HERE!
