In its ongoing commitment to student success, Walsh University has announced the establishment of its new Four-Year Graduation Guarantee to help students graduate on time and on budget, effective for the Class or 2024. With the guarantee, if a student meets all outlined responsibilities, but doesn’t meet the requirements to graduate in four years, Walsh University will cover the tuition cost of their remaining coursework for up to two semesters, or have the option to take two graduate-level courses.
To participate, students will commit to the Four-Year Graduation Guarantee during the first month of their fall semester and follow the steps outlined, which includes declaring of a major in a timely manner, passing all course work and registering for the appropriate amount of classes each semester.
PROGRAM PARTICIPATION INCLUDES:
- Matriculate at Walsh University as a first-year, full-time, degree-seeking student.
- Sign the Walsh University Four-Year Graduation Guarantee.
- Declare one academic major by the end of your sophomore year.
- Maintain a 15-credit-hour course load each fall and spring semester.*
- Average a minimum of a 2.0 GPA or higher and earn sufficient grades to advance to the next level of required courses.

Walsh University believes in the value of the degrees our students earn. Students are also eligible to participate in the Maroon and Gold Promise, which ensures that within six months of earning their degree, a Walsh graduate will placed in a job or further training such as an executive development program, graduate school or service/scholarship opportunity (i.e. Fulbright or Peace Corps).
The Maroon and Gold Career Promise is Walsh’s 100% commitment to ensure that students will find an entry-level position or higher, be enrolled in graduate school, or gain a service year position after graduation. To be eligible, students will be required to participate in several activities, such as earning digital badges, which prepare students for the jobs of the 21st century.
