Information Technology has many services available for students to enhance their experience while they are living, working and studying at Walsh University.

I.T. in the Residence Halls

  • Each room has an Ethernet port for connecting to our wired network. The wired network is faster and is a good alternative to wireless if you are working in your room. We recommend a 15-20 foot ethernet cable to connect.
  • Wifi (Walsh-student) is available throughout the residence halls. The guest wifi is NOT available in the residence halls.
  • Each residence hall has a computer lab for students to use to collaborate and do classwork. All labs are equipped with printers (no charge for printing).
  • Gaming devices are permitted on the wired network. Gaming devices on the wireless network, Walsh-student, will require your Walsh login each time you use the device.
  • Smart TVs and streaming media devices are permitted on the wired network. These devices must be registered on the wireless network, complete this form and return into help desk. Chromecasts are not permitted on our network.
