Dr. Tracey Herstich has been in the nursing field for over 20 years, beginning her nursing career as a pediatric nurse. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Akron University and is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in both primary and acute care. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walsh University. Her experience as a nurse practitioner includes pediatric surgery, anesthesia, pediatric intensive care and working collaboratively with cardiologists and pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons to provide care for children with complex medical conditions. Dr. Herstich has been a fulltime faculty member 7 years, and currently teaches in both the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs. Dr. Herstich global health experience both as a clinician providing care for pediatric clients and leading student experiential learning opportunities to under resourced settings. Dr. Herstich has serves on local committees includes Aultman Ambassadors Program and Hoover High Medical Interventions and Biomedical Innovations Community Advisor, and Green High School Air Force JROTC Booster Club.
