Meet Walsh University Admissions Requirements:

- Submit CCP Application by May 1
- No applications are accepted for Spring Semester.
- Preferred 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Submit official high school transcripts

- Submit ACT/SAT scores
Students who have not yet taken the ACT or SAT, may be eligible for acceptance with an overall high school GPA of 3.0. However, if students plan to take a math and/or English course, placement tests (ACT/SAT) will be required to determine eligibility.
- Students who have already been participating in the CCP program and wish to continue the next year, do not need to reapply.
Admitted Students:
- Once admitted, please complete the CCP Permission Slip required by the Ohio Department of Higher Education and the CCP Questionnaire
Public High School Students
Students must notify their school counselor by May 1 of their intent to participate in College Credit Plus. Additional paperwork may be needed.
Non-Public High School & Homeschool Students
Students who attend a nonpublic high school or are homeschooled must complete the following steps for the Ohio Department of Education (ODE):
- Create an OH|ID Account at https://ohid.ohio.gov by April 1 (The SAFE Portal has been integrated with the OH|ID System. If you already have an OH|ID Account, you do not need to create a new one)
- Log into your OH|ID account and electronically declare your intent to participate by April 1
- Complete & submit the funding application on your OH|ID Account by April 1
- In May, funding award notifications will be available in your OH|ID Account
- Funding letters must be emailed to ccp@walsh.edu by July 1 (Failure to do so will result in paying for credits)
- Permission Slips and Mature Content Questionnaires that were included in your acceptance packet must also be completed and emailed to ccp@walsh.edu by July 1 st. Failure to do so will prohibit you from being enrolled in courses, per the Ohio Department of Higher Education.

Under Application Requirements, click on CCP Funding Letter and Course Selection Sheet
Click Upload and select your Funding Letter and Course Selection Sheet, respectively.
*If successfully uploaded, the requirement will be crossed off.
*Deadline to upload these documents is July 1, 2023.

Per the Ohio Department of Higher Education, the subject matter of a course enrolled in under the college credit plus program may include mature subject matter or materials, including those of a graphic, explicit, violent, or sexual nature, that will not be modified based upon college credit plus enrollee participation regardless of where course instruction occurs.
