Walsh Named a Military Friendly School for 2021-22


For the eleventh consecutive year, Walsh University has been recognized as a Military Friendly® School.  In a rigorous survey given annually to colleges and universities throughout the U.S., VIQTORY media group awarded the designation to Walsh for its outstanding commitment to serving veteran students. Walsh University is a proud participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, a financial provision arrangement for military students as part of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. This program is a partnership between Walsh University and the VA to fund tuition expenses that exceed the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition rate. This makes a Walsh education more affordable for all veterans.

About Military Friendly Schools: The Military Friendly School list is created each year based on extensive research using public data sources for more than 8,800 schools nationwide, input from student veterans, and responses to the proprietary, data-driven Military Friendly® Schools survey from participating institutions. The survey questions, methodology, criteria and weighting were developed with the assistance of an independent research firm and an advisory council of educators and employers.
