After more than a decade of service, Vice President for Advancement and Alumni Relations Eric Belden is transitioning to the corporate world and will remain a wonderful ambassador for Walsh University in our greater community. We thank him for his dedication and service to Walsh University and wish him all the best in his new endeavor.  Teresa Fox has been named Interim Vice President for Advancement and Alumni Relations, providing executive oversight for the Advancement and Alumni Relations team as well as providing continuing leadership over the Office of Integrated Marketing and Communications.

Fox brings 26 years of marketing and fundraising experience to her role having worked in Walsh University’s Office of Advancement for nine years until being promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Walsh University in 2014. With her vast institutional knowledge and having served on the President’s Cabinet for nine years, she works collaboratively with other members of the administration to provide strategic vision for the University.

Prior to joining Walsh, Fox was a senior account executive in marketing and advertising for both the nonprofit and profit sectors in South Carolina and California with such clients as the Savannah Economic Development Authority, Bombardier Business Aircraft, Fisher and Paykel Appliances, Sears and Sony. Fox was honored with a “best of the best” Accent on Excellence marketing award from the National Sales & Marketing Executives association in 2017. She is a multiple Addy award winner for her work in advertising and a graduate of Leadership Stark County’s signature program.

Marketing, Communications, Advancement, and Alumni Relations, as a unit, will serve as a liaison between the University and its many public audiences, partners, and stakeholders. Associate Vice President Karen Hodge will continue to serve in the daily operations for Advancement and Alumni Relations. Finally, Chief of Staff, Dr. Rachel Hosler continues with her cross-enterprise collaborative efforts with both departments to further advance our mission as a leader in Catholic higher education.
