Walsh University Promotes Sean Ferguson to Director of Marketing

Walsh University is pleased to announce Sean Ferguson has been promoted from Marketing Manager to Director of Marketing.  Ferguson, who joined the University in January, brings more than 10 years of experience to this role. 

Reporting to the Vice President for Integrated Marketing and Communications, he is involved in the planning, execution, tracking and analysis of University-wide marketing, advertising and social media. Ferguson also serves as the University’s primary media buyer and project manager for marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, special event promotion, online initiatives and sponsorship marketing. He can also be found photographing designated campus events for social media and contributing to the Walsh University Magazine.

Ferguson came to Walsh from Farmers National Bank of Canfield, where he served as Digital Marketing and Communications Strategist. Prior to Farmers, he was a Content Strategist for a Youngstown-based Public Relations firm and Social Media Manager for the Youngstown Vindicator.

Ferguson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Youngstown State University. He resides in Uniontown with his wife.
