In honor of National Nurses Month in May, Walsh University would like to highlight the Byers School of Nursing alumni and current students who dedicate their time to providing much-needed patient care amid challenging circumstances.
We are inviting current nursing students and alumni to record a short, 10-15 second video clip of yourself in a clinical setting explaining why you are passionate about the field of nursing and what keeps you motivated. We will feature a compilation video of our entries during the month of May on social media, the Walsh University website, and in email communications with a special roll out during National Nurses Week, May 6-12.
Tips for recording your video:
- Make sure you include your full name and Walsh graduation year in your email along with the video clip.
- Please choose a relatively quiet, well lit location that is not directly in front of a window.
- When recording, please hold your phone horizontal. Keep the phone at eye level or above so you’re not looking down.
- We want to feature as many as we can, so please try to stay within the 10-15 second timeframe.
- Clips should be sent to marcom@walsh.edu no later than Monday, April 18.
