Steve Weigand, President of the Alumni Board, graduated from Walsh in 2010 with degrees in both Finance and Management. Steve was always looking for more ways to stay involved with the university. “When I was invited to be a part of the Alumni Board, it was an opportunity that I could not pass up!” Steve said, “the personal connections that you experience here at Walsh, are unlike anything big universities can offer.” In his spare time, he enjoys playing his electric guitar and doing Brazilian jujitsu (he has two black belts!). Steve resides in Shaker Heights with his wife Natalie '18 and their daughter. We are more than happy to have him on our team!
Why did you join the alumni board?
“I enjoyed participating in Professor for a Day and wanted to find a way to be more involved with the university and it’s students. When I was invited to be a part of the Alumni Board, it was an opportunity that I could not pass up!”
What is your favorite thing about Walsh?
“The personal connections that you experience here at Walsh, are unlike anything other big universities can offer.”
