I was playing the card game Mafia with some students in Lemmon hall commons area the week before school started freshman year. Tyler walked up and sat next to me and joined in the game. He was very sweet and offered me the mafia card when he got it. We were both premed at the time and we talked about studying together in the future. He was a Blouin Global Scholar and I was very interested in becoming one, but I didn’t apply in time. Tyler has been one of the best things to happen to me and I look forward to what is to come. I can’t imagine life without him. I’m so grateful for him and his family. We aren’t married yet, but we just celebrated our 6th anniversary in November.
